A PP pool is delivered as a prefabricated pool shell made of polypropylene. The short time on site is an advantage, but the final result depends on a proper foundation, lifting, piping connections, and backfilling.
Short answer: Check ground conditions and crane access, build a level foundation, and follow the installation plan for simultaneous filling and backfilling.
Prepare the ground
The excavation must provide space for drainage, connections, and safe installation. The foundation structure is adapted to the supplier's system and local ground conditions. A level and stable base reduces loads on the pool shell.
Groundwater and surface water must be managed so that the pool is not exposed to uplift pressure.
Delivery and lifting
Measure the entire transport route: gates, trees, utility lines, and parts of the house may limit access. The crane position and lifting radius must be planned before delivery.
The pool must be lifted at the designated points and protected against deformation and wind during the operation.
Connections and backfilling
Skimmers, inlets, lighting, and pipes must be installed and checked before they are enclosed. Pressure test the pipe system. Backfilling and filling with water are carried out in the order and pace specified in the installation instructions.
An incorrect level difference between the inside and outside can place stress on the walls.
Care of the PP surface
Use tools and chemicals intended for the material. Keep the water balance stable and avoid aggressive spot treatment directly against the surface. Clean the waterline regularly using a gentle method.

Frequently asked questions
Can a PP pool have any shape?
Many shapes and integrated stairs are possible, but manufacturing, transport, and construction set practical limits.
Does a PP pool need a liner?
Normally, the welded PP surface is the waterproof layer itself. Follow the design and warranty of the specific product.
