Solar-powered circulation pump

Pooltime is proud to present a unique solution for pool owners: our solar-powered circulation pump. This system harnesses the sun's energy by placing 3-4 solar panels on, for example, the garage roof or a freestanding pole, which then powers the circulation pump. The pump is a direct current pump (DC), which is up to 30% more efficient than traditional alternating current pumps (AC). In Sweden, a solar-powered pump is optimal from March to October, a period that perfectly coincides with the pool's main usage season. The system is a completely "OFF GRID" solution, meaning it is independent of the electrical grid and thus eliminates electricity costs for pump operation on sunny days. For those who want continuous operation even when the sun is not shining, the Powerpack 2000S is available as an option. This complementary system allows operation via the electrical grid after sunset or on cloudy days. Our solar-powered circulation pumps come in two sizes: a smaller model ideal for private individuals with individual pools, and a larger variant adapted for municipal swimming pools or larger facilities. This contributes to a more sustainable and cost-effective pool experience, and in combination with a pool cover energy savings can be optimized further.

Solar-Powered Motor for Pool Covers
