Stainless Steel Pool Ladder

A well-considered entry

Make the way down into the pool part of the whole

A pool ladder should suit both the pool and the way you use the pool area. With the right arch, mounting, and number of steps, you get an entry that works together with the pool edge and your pool cover. At Pooltime, you will find stainless steel pool ladders from Pahlén in fixed and foldable versions to compare before buying or replacing.

Compare the arch clearance, mounting points, and step placement against your pool.

The right material choice

Check the water environment and the product's material requirements before ordering.

When is a foldable pool ladder suitable?

A foldable model is worth considering when the ladder needs to be moved away from its usual position. This can be an advantage when planning pool covers and enclosures, but there must be room for the movement. Check how the ladder folds, how it locks, and whether there are any obstacles behind or beside the pool edge.

A fixed model may be suitable where the ladder can remain in place without interfering with other equipment. Choose based on how the pool area functions in everyday use, not solely on the appearance of the product image. It is the interaction between ladder, edge, and cover that makes the solution work well.

Measure these parts before choosing a ladder

  1. Pool depth and entry. Assess the ladder's position and choose a model that suits the pool's design.
  2. Pool edge and arch. Measure the distance from the water to the mounting point and check how much space the handrails require.
  3. Existing fittings. When replacing, the mounting, pipe diameter, and centre distance need to be compared.
  4. Pool cover. Make sure that a cover, slats, or other covering can be used according to the instructions together with the ladder.

Compare Pahlén fixed and foldable ladder

The collection includes Pahlén Ladder fixed in a stainless steel design with four steps and a specified pipe diameter of Ø43 mm. There is also a foldable Pahlén ladder with four steps and a wide arch of 600 mm. Go to the products to compare current dimensions, mountings, and what is included.

Stainless steel does not mean the material is suitable for all water environments. The product information in this collection recommends the models for pools without salt. If you have a salt chlorinator, material compatibility should therefore be confirmed separately before choosing a ladder. Also follow the product's advice on water values, cleaning, and maintenance.

Frequently asked questions before your purchase

Is a stainless steel pool ladder suitable for salt water?

Not automatically. The products in this collection are specified for pools without salt. Always confirm the material's suitability for the current salt level before purchasing.

Can I use existing mountings?

That depends on dimensions, pipe diameter, and mounting system. Measure the existing parts and compare them with the product specifications.

Is a folding ladder compatible with my pool enclosure?

This needs to be checked for the combination of cover and ladder. Compare the ladder's movement and dimensions with the cover's free space and openings.
