4 Steps to Design Your Pool

A pool is often a significant investment for most people, so it is important that everything fits perfectly for your own plot and matches the house.

  1. Choose the location – The pool should be placed where there is sun so that you can sit on the gable steps and enhance your quality of life. The pool is pleasant to look at when the light shines at night, so place the pool clearly visible from the living room. Around the pool we recommend having at least 1.5m around it so that the space does not feel too cramped, and on the short side (opposite the steps) at least about 3m to be able to slide the pool cover away.
  2. Choose shape and steps – The latest trend increasingly points to rectangular pools. Large pools of 4×8 are comfortable to have gable steps to sit on, while smaller pools such as 3.5×7 or 3×6 are best with corner steps to keep the entire length of the pool free.
  3. Choose color – Keep in mind that the water color will always be a bit darker than the pool's color without water. A white pool becomes light blue, a light blue pool becomes blue, and a gray pool becomes turquoise.
  4. Choose the right accessories – Pump and filter are standard accessories for pools, but preparing space for pool covers, pool heat pumps, salt chlorinators, or automatic dosing equipment can be a good idea.
