Electric heaters bring together solutions for efficient, comfortable pool water heating. Correctly sized pool heating provides a steadier temperature and can extend the swimming season, especially alongside an insulating pool cover or enclosure.

The choice depends on pool volume, desired temperature, swimming season, climate and how well the pool is covered when not in use. An undersized heater has to run for long periods, while a correctly sized solution provides greater comfort and more predictable operation.

Installation, care and service life

Ensure the correct water flow and keep filters and the circulation system clean. Follow the instructions for bypass, frost protection and winter shutdown. Electrical installation and permanent connections must be carried out by a suitably authorised installer in accordance with applicable requirements.

Aqua Compact and Aqua HL have different configurations

Pahlén Aqua Compact and Aqua HL come in several output and material variants. Aqua HL is described as having a digital temperature display and built-in contactors, while Aqua Compact has its own set of control and protection functions. Compare the equipment and connections of the specific configuration; the model name alone does not establish the installation requirements.

An electric heater converts supplied electricity into heat in the water. Select the output alongside pool volume, heating demand and the available power supply. Check single-phase or three-phase requirements, fuse ratings and minimum water flow in the product documentation. The flow switch and overheat protection must work in the completed installation.

Match the material to the water

For salt-chlorinated water, the heating element and all other water-contact parts must be suitable for that environment. The Aqua Compact product description recommends the titanium version for salt water or salt chlorination. Also check the specified water quality limits.
