Pool installation
Today, there are several ways to build a pool and a range of materials to use. There are many types of pools on the market, and these can be divided into two categories: pools delivered in parts and those delivered as a single shell. With a pool delivered in its entirety as a “single shell”, installation is much faster, and you also avoid PVC liner fabric in your pool. See our range of poolshere.
glasfiberpool
This pool is delivered as a “complete shell”. In recent years, there has been strong demand for this particular type of pool on the market. At Pooltime, we carefully select our suppliers to ensure the longest possible lifespan. Fibreglass is a sensitive material, so it is especially important to choose the right supplier.
The reason for this is that cheap fibreglass pools (of low quality) containing polyester can develop so-called blistering or osmosis, because the polyester slowly lets water through, which freezes in winter. This causes the pool to crack or develop mould in summer and form bubbles in the surface layer.
Our supplier offers the world’s most unique pool based on the patented Composite Armour technology. These fibreglass pools are also known as composite pools.
Composite pools contain a mesh of Kevlar as well as carbon fibre, making the pool walls flexible while also highly impact-resistant. Composite pools contain only vinyl ester and no polyester, which is why they come with a lifetime warranty.
Thermoplastic Pool / PP Pool
A thermoplastic pool or polypropylene pool (PP Pool) / plastic pool is the latest technology in the pool industry. The pool’s material consists of the environmentally friendly material polypropylene, which belongs to the thermoplast group and has extremely good insulating properties.
Thermoplastic pools are delivered as a “single shell,” just like glasfiberpool. Since polypropylene is a homogeneous material, osmosis / blistering cannot form, as it can in cheap glasfiberpooler containing polyester. The material is scratch-resistant, which means dogs can also swim in the pool!
A PP pool is a concrete pool and is very popular because it is both affordable and easy to customize to your wishes. With a PP pool, you get an attractive pool in your garden without needing a massive budget. PP pools also offer many options when it comes to the pool’s size and shape.
