Low pool enclosure – Icon KIT – function and benefits

Icon KIT is a range of pool enclosures for protecting your pool without dominating the garden. The enclosure reduces dirt and evaporation and improves heat retention, which can simplify pool care and extend the swimming season.

The low profile preserves the view across the garden, while sliding sections make the pool easy to open and close. When comparing pool enclosures, consider the complete arrangement: internal width, length, height, rail system, door position and the space where the sections will retract.

How to choose the right pool enclosure

Always measure the pool's maximum external dimensions, including coping, ladders and other protruding features. Also check that the surface is level and stable along the entire rail. Do not choose solely by the pool's nominal size; the installation dimensions determine which model fits.

Check before ordering

  • Dimensions of the pool and installation area
  • Connections, compatibility and what is included
  • Positioning, access and future servicing

Installation, care and service life

Clean the rails regularly and keep them free from gravel, leaves and ice. Move the sections gently and check locks and fixings at regular intervals. Always follow the range's specific instructions for snow loads, wind and winter storage.

Differences between Icon Kit variants

The category includes both Icon Kit S1 and Icon Kit Clear. Compare them as separate designs even though they share a range name. Clear models are described as having short sections, while S1 has its own section layout and specification. Check the number of sections, section length and door arrangement on the selected product's drawing.

The space needed for the retracted enclosure can be decisive on a smaller plot. Shorter sections may offer different storage options, but the total area required still needs checking. Measure the distance behind the pool and mark the rail extension, any plants and changes in level.

Assembly kit and completed installation

Check what the delivery includes and how to prepare for assembly. Plan the rail supports, fixings and access around the sections before delivery. Similar product names do not mean accessories can be freely transferred between ranges. Clear has its own overview under Icon Clear Kit. Additional rails are available under pool enclosure accessories.
