Which pools do we have?
Today, there are several ways to build a pool and many different materials to choose from. There are many types of pools on the market, and these can be divided into two categories: pools delivered in parts and those delivered as a complete shell. With a pool that is delivered in its entirety as a “complete shell,” installation is much faster, and you also avoid PVC liner material in your pool.
Thermoplastic Pool / PP Pool, environmentally friendly “one-piece hot tub” complete pool package
Thermoplastic pool or polypropylene pool (PP Pool) / plastic pool is the latest technology in the pool industry. The pool’s material consists of the environmentally friendly material Polypropylene, which belongs to the group of thermoplastics and has extremely good insulating properties.
Thermoplastic pools are delivered as a “one-piece shell”, just like fiberglass pools. Since polypropylene is a homogeneous material, osmosis/blistering cannot occur, as it can in cheap fiberglass pools that contain polyester. The material is highly durable, which means dogs can swim in the pool too! Welcome to read more about our PP Pools; please see our pool catalogue.

Fiberglass pool
This pool is delivered as a “complete shell”. In recent years, there has been strong demand for this type of pool on the market. At Pooltime, we carefully select our suppliers so that your pool lasts as long as possible. Fibreglass is a very sensitive material, which makes it especially important to choose the right supplier.
The reason for this is that cheap fibreglass pools (of low quality) containing polyester can develop what is known as blistering or osmosis, as the polyester is slowly leached out by water that freezes during winter. This causes the pool to crack or develop mould in summer and form bubbles in the surface layer.
Our supplier offers the world’s most unique pool using patented Composite Armour technology. These fibreglass pools are also called composite pools.
Composite pools contain a mesh of Kevlar and carbon fibre, making the pool walls flexible yet highly durable. Composite pools contain only vinyl ester and no polyester, which is why they are guaranteed for life.
Thermal Pool / Insulated Pool
complete pool package
The thermopool consists of polystyrene blocks, which are then filled with concrete to form the pool’s frame. We offer thermopools from Chemoform and Jakke. The pool wall is then lined with a liner, available in many different colours. An Isopool is a perfect choice for those who find it difficult to get a prefabricated pool onto their property.
Regardless of which pool model you decide on, you are welcome to consult our sales staff before buying a pool. In-ground pool or above-ground pool, fibreglass pool, thermoplastic pool, thermopool or liner pool – we will help you choose the right dream pool for your property!
Read more about these thermopools or configure your thermopool directly in our online store.
Above-ground pool / children's pool
Above-ground pools, also known as paddling pools, are available in various sizes. What these pools have in common is that they stand above ground and are a self-supporting construction consisting of a panel frame and liner.
Above-ground pools / paddling pools are usually entry-level models, where families first buy an above-ground pool as a test. Once you have then tried what it is like to have an above-ground pool, you would normally invest in an in-ground pool as a permanent pool. You can find our range of above-ground pools in our online store.
Complete pool packages
We have also developed complete packages to make things easier for customers. If you do not work with pools, it can be difficult to know everything you actually need for a pool or its accessories. For example, if you buy a pool light, you will also need a transformer for it to work.
The pool packages are divided into basic packages, comfort packages, heating packages, etc. See our pool packages

DIY pools in Odense
Many customers choose to build their pool themselves. In that case, it can be useful to know the costs of building a pool. The prices we offer for swimming pool installation are highly competitive, and it can often be better to let a professional handle the pool construction rather than doing it yourself. If you choose an expert, you know that everything will be done correctly, it will go faster, you can spend your time on other things, sit back, and enjoy the pool when it is ready instead. During home visits in Stockholm and the surrounding area, the excavator and the pool installer/pool builder are also on site, so your quote is as accurate as possible.
You also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and then you are free to start building your dream pool.
Good to think about before building a pool in Odense
Although you do not need a building permit or land permit when building a pool in the city of Odense and surrounding areas, a certain amount of common sense is still required when building a pool. Some things that are good to consider in advance are:
- The first step may be to think about the pool’s location and which size and shape best suit your needs and garden.
- Then you need to decide whether it should be above ground or partially or fully in-ground.
- Check for any cables and pipework on the website ledningskollen.se. . It is the customer’s responsibility to check where the cables are located to avoid placing the pool there.
- Talk to other neighbours in the area who have built a pool about the ground conditions/groundwater level.
- Are you wondering whether you have time to build the pool yourself? Or whether you want to take on shared or turnkey contracts.
- Also consider what time of year is best for you to start building your pool.
- Read about the different pool constructions. What are their advantages and disadvantages
- Request a free quote from us and talk to a pool expert

Accessories for your pool in Odense
Here, you will also find a very wide range of pool accessories for your pool. Choose from pool accessories that make being in your pool more comfortable, as well as more practical. The basic equipment for a swimming pool includes, in part, a circulation pump that circulates the water and a sand filter that cleans the water. There are also various accessories for achieving cleaner pool water. A UV lamp alters the bacteria’s DNA so that they cannot reproduce, which means that 70-80 % less chlorine is needed in the water. A pool heat pump is necessary to heat the pool water to 30 degrees if you want to use the pool from March to October. A pool cover is a popular pool accessory that insulates the pool while also preventing dirt or leaves from getting into the pool.
Here are some examples of the accessories we provide in our range:
- Pool heating
- Pool protection
- Pool robot & pool care
- Swim jets
- Pool lighting
- Coping stones
- Steps & pool ladder
- Pool pump & electrical cabinet
The location of its pool
Positioning the pool correctly is very important. Not only for practical reasons, such as where the cables run, but also to ensure it is optimal for using your pool. It is also a permanent decision, as the pool’s location cannot be changed once the pool has been installed. It is a good idea to place the pool in a pleasant gathering spot, but at the same time not too close to an exit from the house. You do not want to be close to falling into the pool every time you go outside. But at the same time, if it is not too far away from the house, it is a very beautiful sight to see the pool illuminated in winter from the house. You will also want to be able to keep a close eye on things if your child is in the pool.
Pool cover
Another thing that is good to keep in mind is to have a couple of metres of free space behind your pool if you want a pool enclosure. What many people do not realise is that the pool enclosure needs space when it is not covering the pool. This is usually referred to as the pool enclosure’s “parking space”. A good thing to remember is that you need at least 1 metre extra beyond the “parking space” to be able to walk around your pool. Even if you are not planning to buy a pool enclosure, it can be good to keep this in mind if you want to buy one for the pool at a later stage. It is also best not to have overly large trees or too much shrubbery where you want your pool. Choose a location that offers a more open area if possible. If you also do not have a pool enclosure, you risk getting a lot of leaves, etc. in your pool. In that case, it may be a good idea to remove the largest trees. Then, in connection with the excavation, you can remove the large roots while you are still at it. When you visit us, we can help you with information and tips.
How big a pool in Stockholm should you choose?
The basic rule says that if you have a smaller plot of <400 m2, a pool size of 3 x 6 m is recommended. Larger plots of >400 m2, on the other hand, can accommodate pool sizes of 4 x 8 m or larger. These two pool sizes are standard in Denmark today, and all pool enclosures are manufactured specifically for these pool sizes. Choosing a pool that also suits every need and the whole family is not always easy. But creating an oasis in your garden where you can escape the heat of central Odense is worth its weight in gold. A lovely pool that is appreciated by adults, children, and guests alike. Something you can enjoy for many years to come, which can also increase the value of your house in Odense.
