    This pool is delivered as a “one-piece shell”. In recent years, this type of pool has been in very high demand on the market. At Pooltime, we carefully select our suppliers to ensure your pool has the longest possible lifespan. Fiberglass is a very sensitive material, which makes it especially important to choose the right supplier.

    The reason is that cheap fiberglass pools (of low quality) containing polyester can develop something called blistering or osmosis. This happens when the polyester slowly lets water through, which then freezes in winter. This can cause the pool to crack and/or develop mould in summer, as well as form bubbles on the surface layer.

    Our supplier offers the world’s most unique pool with patented Composite Armour technology. These fiberglass pools are also called composite pools.

    Composite pools contain a mesh of Kevlar and carbon fiber, making the pool walls flexible but also incredibly durable. Composite pools contain only vinyl ester and not polyester, which is why these pools come with a lifetime warranty.

The procedure is to hire an excavator who removes the soil, installs the drainage, prepares the base, and possibly pours a concrete slab for the pool. After that, the pool is delivered and filled with dry mortar/concrete while simultaneously filling the pool with water. However, if you buy a Thermopool, much more construction knowledge is required than just being “handy.” There are many steps that can go wrong during a Thermopool build. Everything from how to place the reinforcement in the concrete slab to supporting the polystyrene blocks when filling the pool walls with concrete so the walls don’t crack. It is also important to know how to install the liner in the pool or cut out for the skimmer, inlets, and lights. A small mistake can cost tens of thousands of kronor to fix, if it can be fixed at all.
