Pool with pool enclosure – choose a complete package from the start

Poolmiljö där pool, teknik och pooltak kan planeras tillsammans
Complete planningA pool and pool enclosure work best when dimensions, ground preparation, and opening area are coordinated from the start

Ordering a pool and pool enclosure as a coordinated solution makes it easier to get the right dimensions, technology, and installation from the beginning. The pool cover can be adapted to the pool's external dimensions, steps, pool edge, and surrounding surfaces before excavation and decking are completed. This reduces the risk of the rails, walking area, or sliding surface ending up in the wrong place.

Pooltime offers several pool types and a wide range of pool enclosures. The exact contents of the package are adapted to the plot, the selected pool, the desired equipment, and whether you want to build it yourself, purchase parts of the installation, or have a more coordinated turnkey solution.

What can be included in a pool with a pool enclosure?

  • Pool structure or prefabricated pool shell with selected steps and colour.
  • Circulation pump, filter, inlets, skimmer, and necessary connections.
  • Heating and optional automatic water treatment.
  • A pool enclosure in the right size, height, panel material, and rail system.
  • Shipping, unloading, and any crane handling according to the quote.
  • Installation or turnkey contracting where that service is available.

It is always the quote and order confirmation that specify exactly what is included. Excavation, electrical work, decking, paving, and removal may fall outside a basic package if they are not explicitly included.

Choose pool type first

PP pool

A PP pool is delivered as a finished pool shell and can be customised with steps, benches, and different waterlines. It is ideal if you want short on-site assembly time and many design options. See Exclusive PP pool.

Thermopool

Thermopool is built from insulating blocks that are reinforced and filled with concrete. The construction can be a good choice when access, shape, or building method makes it suitable to assemble the pool on site. See Thermopool.

glasfiberpool

The fibreglass pool is delivered as a finished shell in a selected model. Plan the transport route, lifting, and foundation work early. See fibreglass pools.

Above-ground pool or mini pool

On rocky ground, sloping sites, or small plots, an above-ground pool or a compact wellness pool may be a better option. See above-ground pools.

Choose a pool enclosure based on how the pool will be used

A low pool enclosure provides a discreet look and helps keep the pool clean and warm. A higher enclosure provides more space underneath. You also need to choose between clear plastic and multiwall plastic, rails on one side or both sides, as well as door placement.

The pool cover's size name is not always the same as the pool's nominal measurements. Always check the cover's internal dimensions between the rails, total length, maximum height, and the space needed when the sections are pushed aside. Compare models in the pool cover catalogue.

How to plan the package in the right order

  1. Choose pool type, size, steps, and placement on the plot.
  2. Check the transport route, ground conditions, and planned final ground level.
  3. Decide where the equipment, heat pump, and electrical supply will be placed.
  4. Choose a pool enclosure based on the pool's actual external dimensions and walking areas.
  5. Decide responsibility for excavation, assembly, electrical work, backfilling, and surface finish.
  6. Compile everything in a quote with clear boundaries and options.

What affects the price?

Pool type, size, steps, water treatment, heating, and the model of pool cover affect the material cost. Ground conditions, transport, lifting, removal, and the level of installation affect the project cost. See our page on cost to build a pool for more cost items.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy the pool cover at the same time but install it later?

Yes, but the dimensions and planned ground level need to be correct from the start. Prepare mounting surfaces and sliding space according to the selected model's requirements.

Can a pool enclosure be included in the turnkey contract?

It may be included if assembly and responsibility are specified in the quote. Availability depends on the project's location and scope.

Which pool enclosure fits a 4×8 pool?

There are several models for that size, but the pool's external dimensions, pool edge, and steps determine which cover fits. See pool enclosures 4×8.
