Enclosures for pools measuring around 3 × 6 metres

On a smaller pool site, rail width, door position and parking space are particularly important. An enclosure that covers the water must also work with decking, paths and furniture. Mark out its entire installation area before choosing a model.

Single rail, modules and access

A single-rail design can affect how one side of the pool area is used, but the other side also needs a suitable base and an unobstructed path of movement. Compare the number of modules and the space they occupy when retracted. If a wall or hedge is close to the pool, it may determine how much of the water surface can be uncovered.

Position the door so the steps or ladder can be used when the enclosure is closed. Also check its height above the coping and any handles. A low enclosure can offer a discreet profile, but should be assessed against your expectations for swimming under cover.
