What does 5×10 mean?

A pool referred to as 5×10 may have external dimensions that differ from the water surface, and different pool enclosures use their own size designations. An enclosure needs to cover the pool's maximum width, including the coping, and have sufficient length for the entire pool. Therefore, compare the product's technical dimensions in centimeters - not just the product name.

Measure before ordering

• The largest outer dimensions from pool edge to pool edge.
• Stairs, skimmer, railing, and other protruding parts.
• Clear width for tracks or the wheel side.
• Clear length behind the pool for parking the cover sections.
• The material, level, and load-bearing capacity of the base.
• Preferred side for the door, passageway, and any single-track setup.

Choose height according to function

An ultra-low cover blends into the garden and affects the view less. A medium-height or high cover provides more volume and can make it possible to stay closer to the pool under the cover. Check local regulations and the model documentation before ordering.

Clear plastic or multiwall plastic?

Clear solid polycarbonate provides an unobstructed view and a modern look. Multiwall plastic has air channels that improve insulation but gives a less transparent appearance. Available thickness and materials vary between models, so compare design, insulation, and maintenance.

Tracks and opening direction
