Sand filter Cantabric Top/Side mounted with valve

The Cantabric sand filter is manufactured using an innovative production method where two mirror-welded, injection-molded half-shells of polypropylene are welded together to create a robust and uniform structure. This advanced process is crucial for the filter's exceptionally long service life and durability. Cantabric filters stand out due to their optimal performance in relation to the investment cost, which has established them as a standard component in AstralPool's range. Each Cantabric sand filter is supplied complete with a user-friendly manual 5 (+1)-way valve, a precise pressure gauge for pressure monitoring, and an effective air vent valve that ensures optimal operation. Both the top valve and the transparent inspection hatch, which vary depending on the model – such as the Cantabric top sand filter or the side-mounted Cantabric top – are designed for easy disassembly with an ABS plastic union nut, which significantly facilitates service and maintenance. The filter is dimensioned for a maximum filter rate of 50 m³/h/m² and can handle a maximum operating pressure of 2.5 bar, as well as a maximum temperature of 50°C. These specifications guarantee reliable and efficient operation under varying operating conditions for the Cantabric sand filter.
