Choose a cover to suit the existing pool area

This category includes Top Comfort and submerged AquaTop models. Start by deciding where the cover will be stored when the pool is open. This affects both appearance and the installation space needed around the pool. Above-ground and submerged roller systems have different installation requirements.

For an existing pool, document the width of the pool edge, the supporting surface and any obstacles at the short ends. If the pool is being built at the same time, space for a submerged roller can be planned from the outset. In both cases, moving parts and the motor must remain accessible after the surfaces are finished.

Information for the correct cover dimensions

Measure the water surface width and length, and draw in steps, corners and other variations. Note the waterline position and any changes in level around the pool edge. Check the chosen product's measuring instructions before ordering a width option. A standard width is not the complete specification for a finished cover.

Also check which slats, shaft, drive, controls and anchoring parts are included. These must be selected for the same system. Check how the cover should be locked, cleaned and managed when the pool closes for the season. The model documentation must form the basis for assessing its safety function and installation.
