Bromine is an another effective alternative that functions similarly to chlorine but is generally gentler on skin and eyes, which can be beneficial for sensitive bathers. Ozone offers a powerful disinfection method with the significant advantage that it does not generate any byproducts. Although ozone can be a more expensive option compared with chlorine and bromine, it delivers exceptional purity and minimizes the chemical load in the water.
