High pool enclosures give you the opportunity to use the pool regardless of the weather. With generous headroom, you can swim, stand, and move freely under the enclosure – creating the feeling of having your own bathhouse in the garden.

Pooltime offers high pool enclosures in several models and sizes, designed to withstand the Nordic climate with snow, wind, and rain.

High pool enclosures – more space and easier access

A high pool enclosure is the best choice if you want to make the most of your pool. You can swim even when it rains or is windy, while the enclosure helps retain heat in the water.

The curved design allows snow and dirt to slide off more easily, reducing winter maintenance. This makes high enclosures particularly suitable for holiday homes or pools that are not checked daily.

If you want to combine comfort, practicality and a long swimming season, a high pool enclosure is one of the most popular options.

Choose the height to suit how you will use the space

A taller or more curved enclosure can provide more space above the water than an ultra-low model. However, usable height varies across the width of the enclosure. Check the dimensions where you want to stand, walk or step into the pool. The term “high pool enclosure” does not automatically mean full standing height along the entire edge.

The current range includes Classic in several sizes, with a curved shape, side door and clear polycarbonate panels. Classic 3 × 6, 4 × 8 and 5 × 10 have different numbers of modules and different overall dimensions. Compare the drawings to understand how the available space varies between options.

Plan the door and walkway

Position the door in relation to the pool steps, ladder and the natural route from the house. If you want a clear walkway along the pool edge, the enclosure's internal dimensions must include that area as well as the water surface. Also check the end-panel design and how the opening works with the modules in different positions.

The enclosure's visible size affects how your garden feels. Compare the view from the patio and the house, ideally with the dimensions marked out on site. If a lower profile matters more, low pool enclosures are an alternative.

Standard size or a tailored design

Record the pool's external dimensions, coping and the clear space for rails and parking the enclosure. Read more about the range under Classic pool enclosures. For non-standard dimensions or specific space requirements, made-to-measure pool enclosures are available. Check the final specification against the model's installation documentation before ordering.
